The charming historical architecture captivated my heart.

Unfortunately, I encountered several issues . The mattress in my room felt excessively soft, difficult to get a good night's sleep. The hot water was unreliable, as it ran out very quickly during my shower, leaving me disappointed and uncomfortable. Despite the appealing ambiance of the inn, these shortcomings overshadowed what should have been a good experience.

Very very helpful and genuinely helpful staff with a smile. A double room with balcony.

Plenty of food at the breakfast, including breads, cereals and fruit. The rooms with the couch and a pull out bed, as example. Exceptionally nice and perfect location in a perfect area just off restaurants and shops and the marina and shops, restaurants, breweries, lighthouse.

Consider exploring local wine tours for a good afternoon. The beautiful garden settings enhance the experience.

Friendly innkeeper Bobby. The hot breakfast was cooked to order and the cozy porch with wicker chairs added charm! Enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese in the evening!

Parking was a hassle since the options were limited nearby. While the room was spacious, we missed having a fridge to keep our drinks cool when relaxation called.

My stay was truly delightful. the breakfast was scrumptious and felt personalized, while our cozy room had a charming vibe, although I expected more vibrant decor based on the photos. I'd definitely come back!

The Vandiver Inn provided a nice stay. The delicious breakfast was cooked to order, especially those eggs by the chef, Brad. Really enjoyed the charming atmosphere with well-maintained Victorian decor throughout. The daily manager's reception and complimentary beverages felt cute. Stairs were plenty, so that's something to consider if mobility is a concern. Meeting the friendly owners. Even though I found the room charming, I noticed some wear like torn wallpaper and a few broken tiles in the bathroom. The lack of a comfortable seating area in the lobby was noticeable during quieter times. Despite these hiccups, the charm of the Inn and the kindness of the staff made it a nice getaway.
